About Dr Ellie van der List

Dr Ellie van der List studied medicine at the University of Sydney before returning home to Brisbane where she completed her physician training. She undertook advanced training in Gastroenterology at Logan Hospital and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, and a post-fellowship year at the Princess Alexandra Hospital subspecialising in Hepatology.

In addition to general gastroenterology, endoscopy and colonoscopy, Dr van der List has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of liver disease, including autoimmune liver disease, fatty liver disease and viral hepatitis.

Ellie also holds public appointments at Mater Public Hospital and the Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS), and a Lecturer with the University of Queensland.
