Do I need to wear a mask to my appointment?

Mask wearing is now optional in QLD hospital facilities. QLD COVID-19 traffic light is currently green.
Bridges Health doctors and staff may continue to wear masks and patients are encouraged to do so if they choose.

We appreciate your support through these changes to keep us all safe. We will continue to keep you updated if there are any revisions to the above requirements. You will receive a SMS with any changes.

How will COVID-19 restrictions affect my appointment?

You will receive a SMS with any changes to the restrictions.

You can view the State Government’s current COVID-19 restrictions and access information about vaccination against COVID-19 here.

Your First Appointment

An SMS message will be sent to confirm your appointment 2 days prior.

Please allow 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete your registration.

Please bring your Medicare Card, Health Fund Card and referral if you have a copy.

Please note our preferred method of payment is EFTPOS and your payment is to be made on the day of your consultation.

 

Patient Portal

Bridges Health practice management system, Clinic to Cloud, has a patient portal  designed to improve patient engagement.

A welcome email with login details will be sent automatically from our system……..  Note: this email may go to your junk email.

Please login to complete and confirm your details.

Your doctor will talk to you about sharing information with you and the ability to upload documents e.g. referrals

Please talk to administration staff if you need further detail or instruction on using the patient portal.

Telehealth Appointments

Telehealth consultations may be via  telephone or a video call.

The suitability of this option will be determined by your doctor and with your approval.

Your doctors receptionist will email or send you a consent form for completion and the link with instructions should the call be by video.

Our Video Call service can be used on any smart phone, tablet or computer with access to the internet.

For phone consultations your Doctor will call on your registered contact number.

NOTE: Doctors are sometimes running late, the staff will inform you of any significant delays.
