All aspects of general surgery including laparoscopic surgery
Dr David Lockwood graduated from University of Qld in 1991. Following advanced training in general surgery he completed fellowships in Transplantation and HPB surgery at St James’s University Hospital, Leeds, UK and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney.
He currently works at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in the Renal Transplantation Unit, Acute Surgical Unit and Trauma and performs private work at Mater Private Hospital Springfield.
David is a senior instructor on the Emergency Management of Severe Trauma (EMST) course administered by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. His special interests include access surgery including dialysis access and laparoscopic surgery.
